Senior civilian and deputy chief of staff for G3 Training. Responsible for guiding the day to day operations of a 45 person staff composed of active and reserve Soldiers, civilians, and contractors. Exercises full authority to act on all issues pertaining to the directorate. Shares in the responsibility for planning, programming and directing staff operations. Manages the budget, manpower and other resources. Orchestrates the training National Guard, Army Reserve and JISTO forces as a part of Army Force Generation (ARFORGEN) mobilization and training missions to support approximately 1,100 units and personnel annually at 7 locations across the United States. Integrates transformation and force management actions for First Army\'s 2 divisions and 16 brigades to achieve strategic goals. Primary duties include the Joint Assessments and support of Notification of Training Conferences, development of training plans, policy and use of respources to support both DEF and CEF training.
