ABOUT RICHARD EMERY

I have 17 years construction experience with brickwork sub-contracting background working on a number of public/commercial sector projects ranging from £25m to £920m for the leading P.C\'s such as Skanska, Kiers, Carillion, Balfour Beatty and Shephards.I describe myself as a highly motivated, excellent communicator, team leader, problem solver and punctual gentleman. Level 3 C&G Bricklayer, SMSTS, First Aid at work 3 day training, Asbestos Awareness course, CPCS Telehandler trained. I also hold a full UK driving License. I completed my SHEA Gas CSCS & Cross Country Pipeline HSE CSCS courses 2010I currently work for Profiles Brickwork aa s site manager based all over the Uk. I have recently started a new build social and affordable housing site outside of Preston for LEC which will house 106 plots come completion in March 2021. I recently left Kwbl after 9 months service seeing an opportunity to return to a family business. Prior to that I worked for Cara Brickwork who let me go after 5 months due to a lack of contracts. I went to work for a shop fit out contractor as a bricklayer doing new restaurants and service station refurbs. The contracts vary from 6-12 weeks and vary across the UK. This was a temporary position till I found site management work for a brickwork sub-contractor.I started for Cara Brickwork in May 2014 as a site manager building school projects for Willmott Dixon and social housing around Manchester for Waites however I was made redundant due to lack of work. October 2014 I moved to Wolverhampton to work for Bullocks Construction as a site agent. I was in charge of gas pipe removal and making good the properties of 144 appartments in the city centre as well as manage a team of sub contractors who will repair balconies to masonette properties at another location.
