The Director will coordinate sustainability messaging efforts, encourage, and develop others to take sustainability leadership roles within heir own areas, and build support and consensus among diverse groups.Leads the AASHE Stars reporting process.Re-engage 2nd Nature (Paris Agreement Participation).Implement the Governor’s Executive Order Number Seventy-Seven(Reduce Plastic Pollution and Solid Waste)Collaborates with operational departments (energy, recycling, purchasing,dining, I.T, transportation, housing, etc.) to assess, record, and improvesustainability outcomes in a way that benefits the unit as well as campusas a whole.Interfaces with students/student groups on campus sustainabilityinitiatives, providing continuity across years, liaising between students andcampus/community members.Develops additional assessment and reporting protocols for sustainabilityrelated activities.For campus wide energy management and sustainability initiatives associated with thecampus energy use, waste diversion and recycling, water saving, provide transportationoptions.
