With an educational background in documentary filmmaking video editing, and digital marketing as well as prior work experience in social media marketing, I am now seeking to establish myself in the world of documentary filmmaking & influencer marketing. With aspirations of starting a sports marketing agency representing obscure amateur athletes and potential influencers, I have spent the last year introducing myself to some of the basic skills I will need to achieve this. At this time, I\'m specifically seeking a learning experience in which I can begin mastering the art of documentary filmmaking & video editing, especially as it pertains to social media content creation and marketing.As a Marketing Specialist at Bentex Group, I have developed valuable skills in influencer marketing, including influencer outreach, executing various marketing campaigns and conducting a basic analysis of social media data to generate actionable insights. I also gained extensive experience using different data manipulation tools like SQL, Excel, and Power Bi when being tasked with the responsibility of determining which products should be promoted to which target audience(s). Over my years working in a variety of roles including my last year as a marketing specialist, I was able to build on my team collaboration skills to infiltrate a cohesive marketing campaign on different advertising channels based on a marketing calendar created by our head of marketing.Immediately after my time at Bentex, I participated in an intensive 6-week documentary filmmaking program at New York Film Academy where I had the opportunity to learn documentary storytelling, video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro, and operating a Sony NX5 camera, as well as various audio equipment tools. Most recently, I underwent an Avid Media Composer certificate course where I learned many of the technical elements and functions that can be performed using Avid\'s editing software. I also had the privilege of having bi-weekly 1-on-1 meetings with an editing teacher covering editing theory, diving into best techniques and editing practices.
