Tech evangelist and global leader for enterprise data solutions at FIS the largest FinTech in the world. Leading a team of 500 people covering Data Science, Data Engineering, Data Solutions, Data Analytics and Visualisation and data management. Leader of the firm’s AIFirst initiative a global network of AI innovation labs Data Science use cases with a “Kaggle” like strategy. Strategic partner for our data cloud vendor community working with major customers and vendors to partner on various initiatives,(Google, Nvidia, Snowflake etc.). Responsible for pivoting the firm to the public cloud for data in a cloud first strategy and building the team from 40 to 500 people over 3 years. Speaking at the firms Cloud conferences with customers and clients on our journey and achievements. When I’m not working, I’m playing with Robots, am a massive film buff, have a healthy interest in Astronomy and occasionally write for the biggest UK astronomy magazine and swim and cycle to stay healthy.
