As a Staff Accountant at Foot Locker Corporate Services, I have honed my skills in both Lease Accounting and Asset Management. In my current role, I am responsible for recording and monitoring lease accruals for North American stores across multiple business units. I provide monthly data reports to upper-level management to ensure visibility to outstanding lease accruals and process monthly percent rent forecasts accurately. Additionally, I maintain monthly percent rent accruals for all North American divisions and prepare balance sheet account reconciliations and variance analytics in alignment with Foot Locker standards.Previously, in my role as a Staff Accountant for Asset Management, I prepared balance sheet account reconciliations and variance analytics in alignment with Foot Locker standards. I recorded and monitored Europe construction accruals for stores across multiple business units, prepared and submitted Capital Expenditure Reports, and recorded and reviewed company assets. I also performed ad hoc duties as assigned.Prior to my accounting career, I worked as a Lead Sales Associate - Supervisor at Champs in Deptford, NJ. During my time there, I consistently achieved top sales and honed my customer service skills. I was also entrusted with counting registers upon closing and managed and mentored junior sales representatives.Overall, my experience in accounting and retail has allowed me to develop a unique skill set that includes strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills. I am eager to continue to grow and learn in my career and contribute to the success of my team and organization.
