About Richard Damien Ross

Defense litigator specializing in complex litigation and professional malpractice. I defend businesses of every stripe. Recent past clients include three casinos, two rifle ranges, a go-kart track, many taverns, and the nations oldest 55 and older community. On the malpractice side I defend churches and other civic organizations from current and historic sexual assault allegations. And I defend professionals accused of malpractice: doctors, orthodontists, real estate agents, engineers, countless attorneys, and many others. The primary common thread through all of these cases is the desire to develop unique, practical defenses that honor clients’ hard work and integrity through zealous advocacy. Our clients are thrilled with our work. On the personal side I am a fourth generation native Washingtonian, born and raised in Renton. I am both a Husky and a Wolverine; I attended the University of Washington as an undergraduate and the University of Michigan School of Law. Of course I favor the Dawgs. More importantly, I am a (very) proud father of two boys as well as an active step-dad to my wife’s children: two more boys and a girl. As well as an equally proud husband to my recently betrothed wife Shannon, who is not only chief meteorologist for KOMO news but my long-lost college girlfriend.
