I entered the fire sprinkler industry right after high school in 2018. My journey began after graduation, where I installed fire sprinkler systems for commercial and residential areas. I’ve worked on various projects, including installing systems in attics, parking garages, and residential units. My time in construction has taught me invaluable lessons about working effectively and provided me with skills that I still apply in my current role. After a successful year of hard work, I transitioned into designing fire sprinkler systems. I now create fire protection drawings and other necessary submittal materials according to NFPA standards and as required by local authorities or other interested parties.

   Apr 2019 — Present

   Design fire sprinkler systems for new commercial buildings and apartment buildings. Survey, layout, review code compliance and figure out plan submittal process for AHJ. Prepare code-compliant fire sprinkler design shop drawing using AutoCAD and Hydratec fire protection software. Read and study construction document package provided from general contractors.
