ABOUT RICHARD COCKERILL

I am currently the Solar Installation Operations Manager for Octopus Energy responsible Installations across the country, ensuring quality and adherence with MCS and current regulations. I excel at self management and assume personal responsibility, I am knowledgeable, versatile and adaptable to be able to support other areas of the business. I have been recognised for the support I give to external departments numerous times and pride myself on being approachable and supportive. I am always keen to attend additional training courses to further my skills and knowledge adding to my extensive technical qualifications. I have gained extensive experience and qualifications in metering, gas, electric vehicle charging, solar, battery storage and continue to develop in new technologies such as heat pumps. I have excellent communication skills and thrive on being pushed out of my comfort zone, always willing to learn and develop my skills further.
