Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, Chartered Environmental Health Officer, EHORB registered since 2007. Skilled in Housing Act 2004 and specialise in high rise residential building inspection and risk assessment using the addendum to the HHSRS, HHSRS calculation, Building Inspection, Landlord law and enforcement against rogue landlords, HMO licensing, Drainage, Fire Safety Management, HMO Inspection and Fire Risk Assessment in HRRB.Undertaken expert witness work on behalf of local authorities at FTT. Experienced manager and recruiter. English housing condition survey trained via BRE. Full time employed with Local Government Association in the Fire Safety Joint Inspection Team. Managing Director of JSRx consultants with three other directors specialising in assisting local authorities with housing enforcement policy and strategies.Experienced HMO regulator and rogue Landlord prosecution. Currently working full time as Head of Environmental Health in the Fire Safety Joint Inspection Team (JIT) assisting local authorities to inspect tall buildings, with a view to support and advise them to take action under Housing Act 2004 or apply for a Remediation Order as required. Participated on the management board for the HHSRS v2 review on behalf of LGA. Currently also participating on the JRG PG with HSE/ Building Safety Regulator and NFCC and have assisted with the BSRs Safety case trials.in my spare time I play golf, surf terribly, fish for Barbel and love camping with the family.
