   Management of Digital Engineering; responsibilities include: developing and maintaining the division\'s electronic product families, including advanced airborne and space-based inertial measurement and navigation systems, integrated avionics systems, fiber-optic acoustic systems and IFF systems. Execution of the directorate strategic vision requires working collaboratively with other engineering departments as well as Manufacturing, Test, M&P, Supply Chain Management, Inspection, and Mission Assurance to resolve complex issues in a timely manner. Functional management responsibilities include: department vision, staff resource planning, team and individual mentoring, developing and improving staff technical skills, and conducting performance and salary reviews. As a department process owner, responsibilities include development and implementation of strong processes with emphasis on quantitative management and continuous improvement.
