ABOUT RICHARD BETHLEHEM

I am currently an associate professor in Neuroinformatics and Director of Neuroimaging at the Autism Research Centre at Cambridge University where I work on integrated Neuroimaging and Transcriptomics in order to gain better understanding of genetic underpinnings of typical and atypical neurodevelopment.Previously I conducted my PhD in Cambridge between 2013 and 2017, funded by an MRC studentship, the Pinsent Darwin Trust, and CHESS (Cambridge Home and EU Scholarship Scheme) studying the effects of oxytocin and testosterone administration on resting state and task neural activation in the typical and autistic brain and subsequently spent 18 months as a post-doctoral researcher between UCLA and Cambridge University developing methods and analytical approaches to integrate multimodal neuroimaging and genetics. This latter post was jointly funded by the Parke Davis and Autism Research Trust.
