ABOUT RICHARD BERGER

I am a highly motivated reliable Agile Business Analyst Manager/Product Owner with over 25 years’ experience in the IT Industry including managing teams of both Business Analysts and Development Squads. Majority of my experience has been with Financial Services, specialising in particular in Onboarding and Financial Crime. I have extensive experience of full project lifecycle, including analysing and implementing large-scale multi-million-pound IT projects that have fully met the business objectives of the senior project stakeholders and providing business benefits to the organisation.My current position is with CMC Markets as a Head of Business Analyst where I lead a team of 9 Business Analysts across the Development department. I also act as the Product Manager/Owner and lead the Onboarding Squad. The Onboarding squad is responsible for client user journey from registration through to applying for an account for all of our regional offices across the globe. This includes maintaining the application process that are impacted by regulatory change across the markets CMC Markets operate within. We also interface with a number of third party services to assist with KYC, PEP and Sanctions checks.Prior to this, my focus was on Financial Services in the Risk, Compliance, Regulatory and Financial Crimes domains.
