Responsible for strategic leadership and administrative oversight for the Nebraska Bankers Association, a statewide trade association, comprised of 162 banking fnancial institutions. The NBA and its affiliates have a staff of 26 and an annual operating (not-for profit) budget of more than $4.2 million. As the leading advocate for banking in Nebraska, the NBA provides proactive federal and state government affairs/public advocacy, educational services and training, and a host of products and services designed to improve the profitability of its member banks. As part of my NBA duties, I serve as President/CEO of the Nebraska Bankers Insurance Services Corporation. This for-profit entity offers highly competitive health/dental insurance services (10,500 covered lives), bonding/fraud insurance and a variety of additional products and services for improving the bottom line of our member banks. I am also proud to serve as President of the Nebraska Bankers Association Foundation, a 501(c)3 whose purpose is to provide scholarship and support to students at the various private universities and state colleges in Nebraska. The NBA also operates a state and federal Political Action Committee (PAC) 6. Through the NBA\'s affiliation with the American Bankers Association (ABA), I current hold a seat on the ABA\'s Community Bankers Council.
