The Dean for the College of Health Professions reports to The University of Findlay\'s (UF) Vice President of Academic Affairs (VPAA) and provides leadership for students, staff, faculty, directors, and chairs.The Dean is the academic and administrative leader of the College of Health Professions\' programs and supports UF in its efforts to expand the portfolio of academic offerings.The Dean directs and assists health profession directors and chairs with the programmatic accreditation, development, and implementation processes of health profession programs. Also works closely with the VPAA and faculty in implementing and evaluating academic operations, research, service, and overall program effectiveness. The dean serves as an integral member of the VPAA\'s Deans Council.Responsibilities:• Develops strategic plans, budgets, and coordinates supervision and evaluation of programs within the division of health profession programs.• Provides leadership for faculty and staff with a strong emphasis on faculty development, and keeping instruction, technology, curriculum, equipment, and standards of practice current such that the students in the programs maintain high licensure / certification pass rates.• Leads and supervises curriculum and program development and evaluation, and ensures program and institutional compliance with criteria for accreditation. Assists with data collection and analyzes and interprets report information for outcomes assessment, program planning, and internal and external reporting requirements.• Manages multiple projects in a dynamic environment; works with campus offices on recruitment and retention initiatives.• Reviews and analyzes enrollment data, communicates results and plans strategies for continued success.• Develops strategic plan for the health professions’ division to align with national, state, and UF strategic plan, ends and goals.• Other duties as may be assigned by the VPAA.
