About Richard Artzberger

As an Operational Qualified Gas Controller at Enterprise Products, I monitor the movement of raw natural gas from a gathering system located in the Midland Basin region of West Texas, to a set of processing plants, and then onto a residue and NGL interconnect. I use SCADA systems to observe the overall conditions along the pipeline and to operate devices such as control valves when needed. By doing so, I insure the safe movement and delivery of natural gas along the pipeline. I also log all activities, I regularly communicate with technicians in the field, and I communicate any important information to the incoming controller at shift change. I am particularly interested in networking with operators in the various types of utility fields, petro-chemical industries, and process technicians in all types of industries.
