Coordinating and tracking sample shipments from Merck program teams to partner sites – Liaising with teams to gather and process supporting documentation (e.g. MSDS, USDA permits, prototype documentation, VCP, HTS codes, etc.) for shipping MRL materials between Merck sites and to domestic/international partner sites – Liaising with Global Trade Compliance and Logistics Operations teams as appropriate to ensure logistics requirements are met. – Providing feedback to MRL Logistics leadership of any process improvement opportunities and supporting any implementation activities. – Identify internal and external training needs and coordinate appropriate training i.e, compliance and cold chain. – Be proactive in identifying changes in the customer areas that could impact support needed in logistics areas. – Keep up to date with changes coming from trade compliance. – Serves as Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing logistical guidance and expertise to the scientific community. – Communicate updates from MRL Logistics to the business partners.
