About Richard A. Bernstein
Over my years in practice I have developed a specialty in Orthopaedic Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery. I am actively involved with the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and have been asked by its presidents to serve on multiple task forces, the Residents and Fellows conference and Scientific Exhibits Committees. In addition to my active clinical practice, I teach at the Yale Medical School for Medical and Physician Associate Students as well as the Resident Doctors training in Orthopaedic Surgery. I was inducted and served as the President of The New England Hand Society in 2020. I am also the Medical Director of the Connecticut Orthopaedic Surgery Center located in Milford, Connecticut.
