I teach adults, children and teens how to use their bodies to help with their emotions, feelings and mental well being. I use a body based approach that empowers people to manage the stress, fear, and feelings of “Stuckness” we all sometimes face. Some methods include Body Awareness, the connection between our bodies and emotions, Breathing, Meditation, Mindfulness, and the principles of Aikido, the “Art of Peace.”As a Somatic Educator, I work in many areas including anxiety, depression, extreme trauma or simply “getting through” life\'s ups and downs. Together, we begin where you currently stand and progress at a pace that’s right for you.I use these same approaches to help people excel in interpersonal or performance based areas, whether personal, athletic, professional or educational in nature. Through our practices you’ll learn BodyMind tools that can help you become centered, with a calm, caring power, ready to face and enjoy the many moments to come.
