   Responsible for devising and executing an overall Corporate Communications strategy – inclusive of internal, executive and external communications, as well as community relations – to support The Shyft Group key business goals.• Lead and successfully passed 2022 Million capital bond. • Implemented two collaboratively developed strategic plans.• Rebranded marketing, web, and media presence centered around “OneTroy” campaign. • Named Michigan Superintendent Communicator of Year for “OneTroy” campaign. • Recruited, developed and currently lead alongside dynamic senior cabinet team.• Manage $170 Million budget while strategically growing fund balance by 15-20%.• Collaboratively settled multiple collective bargaining contracts impacting over 1200 employees • Managed 2013 $125 Million capital bond.• Serve with 950 professional teaching and administrative staff spanning 21 schools• Lead funding, design and opening of Troy Preschool serving over 500 students• 20 State and 13 National Blue Ribbon Schools• One fully accredited International Baccalaureate program• Multiple State and National Schools of Character• Annually ranked amongst top school Districts in Michigan and nation• Annually identified as top performing schools in Oakland County, Michigan and nation• Created Superintendents Student Advisory Board including over 50 high school student• Developed Troy Education Roundtable advisory board including multiple local CEOs
