ABOUT RICH LORENZO

I am anything but conventional. Creativity can come from all walks of life, and it can weave a basket so tight that it fills gaps and even holds water. I’ve spent 17 years in banking, and it has been my favorite “mistake.” I never set out to work in finance, but the industry surprised me, giving me a way to serve people, think creatively, and make a meaningful difference.I have spent most of my life as a public steward, devoted to serving the community through my skills and hobbies. As a musician, I write songs to inspire myself and anyone I touch who may be navigating a difficult chapter. As an outdoorsman, I strive to leave every place better than I found it. As a weather enthusiast, I work to guide people to safety from Mother Nature’s elements. And as a ham radio operator, I am driven to reach as far as possible and push the limits of communication.As a banker, I carry these same principles into my view of Small Business Banking and Community Outreach. Be creative and inspire. Find an area of focus and strive to make it better. Do it safely. Communicate clearly with yourself and with others to understand the present so you can push the limits, reach farther, and achieve bigger goals.Banking may be a “must do,” but there are always ways to approach it creatively, to do it better, and to make it serve a meaningful purpose for you, your family, and your business.
