As Engineering Manager, I manage 10 developers aligned to two squads responsible for our ecommerce platform on evri.com. My core focus is supporting, coaching, and developing my team whilst collaborating with the wider capabilities to deliver the EVRi vision. This is vital to driving the adoption of Agile Product Development principles, processes, and standards across the business. Key achievements: • Successfully managing a team of 10 developers aligned to two squads responsible for the ecommerce platform on evri.com • Driving the adoption of Agile Product Development principles, processes, and standards across the business to improve delivery predictability, throughput, and quality • Working with other Engineering Leads to improve the structure and ways of working across the company. • Inspiring team members to improve their skills and capabilities, identifying opportunities for individual development, and continually extending the capabilities of the team • Maintaining and improving employee engagement and retention rates • Chairing developer guilds to improve communication, resolve issues, and enhance ways of working • Overseeing the developer apprenticeship scheme to ensure its success • Documenting best practice for development and line management to facilitate efficient knowledge transfer and continuous improvement
