Glycologix is an emerging glycobiologics company developing novel biomimetic proteoglycan materials with the potential to provide ground-breaking therapeutic solutions to the repair of dermis, cartilage and other connective tissues damaged by disease and aging. Glycologix has both raised seed funding and has been awarded a Phase II SBIR grant from the NIH. • Positioning the manufacturing, regulatory, and patient engagement strategy for our current clinical trial. • Key contributor to securing seed and bridge raises of ~$6 million. • Scaled up a multistage polymer synthesis In collaboration with a key contract manufacturing organization under GMP to support a clinical trial. • Worked with our academic collaborators to both select a clinical candidate based on phenotypic in vivo experiments and demonstrated superiority of our lead over the standard of care with a novel in vivo binding model. • Created a next generation polymer synthesis strategy that led to novel materials and new intellectual property; quadrupled the productivity of our internal laboratory. • Expanding our platform technology into new indications while remaining focused on our first clinical trial.
