About Rich Grant

Rich has spent his entire career—more than 20 years—in roles focused on corporate growth and innovation.Currently, Rich is a Partner and co-leads the Cerity Partners Ventures practice. In this role, Rich works with leading corporations to establish and manage their venture capital programs. Rich joined Cerity Partners in 2024 as part of the merger with Touchdown Ventures, a firm he co-founded in 2014 to provide “venture capital as a service” to corporations. Prior to co-founding Touchdown, Rich spent seven years in venture capital and strategic development at Comcast, where he covered a variety of sectors ranging from enterprise software to consumer technology. Before joining Comcast Ventures, Rich spent nearly ten years in operating roles for media and technology companies. This included leading strategic development for Comcast Interactive Media and a role in corporate development for Sony Pictures. Earlier in his career, Rich worked in investment banking for Lehman Brothers.Rich graduated with Highest Honors from UC Santa Barbara and received an MBA from The Wharton School, where he graduated as a Palmer Scholar.

His current investment focus areas include AI, SaaS, mobile applications & edge services, FinTech, FoodTech and HRTech. He has completed more than 50 investments across these categories.
