As Head of Finance Operations at ClearBank, I lead our Treasury Operations (Back & Middle Office), Reconciliation, and Billing functions, ensuring robust financial controls, scalable automation, and exceptional delivery across a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, I play a central role in shaping strategic direction, driving process optimisation, and enabling global operational excellence as the bank expands internationally.My responsibilities span managing operating bank activities and mandates, oversight of funding and liquidity operations, and maintaining treasury systems to ensure seamless, timely transaction execution and reporting. I work cross-functionally to ensure governance, accuracy, and transparency in cash management, reconciliation processes, and client billing, while creating internal SLAs to improve service and accountability. With a focus on operational resiliency, I drive initiatives that reduce risk and increase automation, allowing operations to scale with our ambitions.I lead a high-performing team committed to continuous improvement and professional development. Through effective performance management, collaboration, and strategic engagement with senior stakeholders, I ensure that Finance Operations is a catalyst for innovation and customer-centric delivery across the business.Key Achievements- Delivered the strategic implementation of AutoRek, enabling end-to-end reconciliation automation and supporting operational scalability in line with ClearBank’s rapid growth- Deployment of FIS Integrity TMS, enhancing cash visibility, control, and treasury efficiency across global operations- Cultivated a highly engaged and skilled team culture, encouraging a mindset of continuous improvement, with members achieving Lean Six Sigma greenbelt certification and advancing through professional finance qualifications
