About Rich Collins

I am an experienced CPA with a background in public accounting and corporate accounting. I began my accounting career as an audit associate with KPMG in Memphis, TN. After several years, I transferred with KPMG to Denver, CO, where I completed my fourth busy season (second as a senior associate). KPMG provided invaluable experiences characterized by project management, technical accounting, and conducting work with confidence and professional skepticism. After moving on from public, I held a remote senior accountant role, which later developed into a managerial role, with the revenue accounting team at Poly (publicly traded tech company in the Bay Area). The company was later acquired by HP. This move afforded me an in-depth view of accounting from the corporate side as I focused on month/quarter-end close procedures, quarterly accounting projects, and managing a subset of the revenue accounting team. Most recently, I joined The Siegfried Group\'s Denver office as a Professional Resource (L3 - Manager). My current role provides me with opportunities to work hand-in-hand with clients as we identify and tackle their most pressing accounting and finance needs.
