   I joined Heartland Payroll Solutions after a 22 year career with Paychex. I came to Heartland because of the culture, the ability to accumulate wealth, and for the opportunity to share these concepts with talented sales professionals.Traditional sales compensation models (base + commission) work for many. However, the truth behind this model is that it can be restrictive and typically benefits the company not the sales rep. It can be restricted by geography, client demographics, and earnings potential. I found this to be true in speaking with many top performing sales professionals. They consistently achieve their company\'s highest rankings, only to be rewarded with territory cuts, quota increases, and relatively flat earnings year over year. Heartland is different.
