I oversee employees, production, and efficiency to ensure that the plant operates smoothly, quickly, efficiently, and safely. I supervise and organize the daily operations of the manufacturing plant.Currently, I’m focused on the production of power devices for electrical traction. In addition, I’m responsible for the management systems related to occupational health and safety, environmental protection, quality, and railway operational safety for the National Infrastructure Workshops (Officine Nazionali Infrastrutture) of RFI (Rete Ferroviaria Italiana). I also serve as the training manager, coordinating and overseeing staff development and professional qualification programs.In the past, I managed two rolling stock workshops in Bologna and Terni, where I worked to maintain optimal operations by assigning workers, creating and maintaining work and production schedules, identifying training needs, analyzing data to detect inefficiencies and areas for improvement, ensuring worker and plant safety, and monitoring equipment to keep it in good working order.I strive to be the last line of defense for quality control when a product leaves the plant (such as a wagon or a mobile electrical substation) or returns for use again (such as a crane or a forklift truck). I also coordinate with other departments within the division to ensure that everything runs smoothly across the company.
