ABOUT RICCARDO COVA

I\'m a Digital Product Designer/Manager/Owner with a hybrid background in design, technology and business, and 20 years\' experience in visual communication and digital product design and development.I began my career as a Graphic Designer and User Interface Designer. I started my own company, Manolibera - Design & Development for Print & Digital, while graduating in Architecture and Industrial Design at Politecnico di Milano. I managed Manolibera for nearly 20 years being responsible for the overall design process, including brand and product identity design, visual and print design and of course UI & UX design.On top of my professional career, I have 15 years\' experience as an adjunct professor at the University of Milano-Bicocca, Faculty of Psychology - Theory and Technology of Communication, teaching UX & UI design to various classes.After a brief experience at OneDay Group where I\'ve been responsible for digital product design and development and overall user experience across multiple touch points for a wide range of websites, I\'m currently focused on WeRoad, a fast-growing startup in the travel and tourism industry.Passionate of digital media and design I\'m focused on having continuously updated training in Design Thinking, Service Design, User Research and Front-end Development to be able to clearly understand trends, constraints and opportunities.Strongly convinced that a good designer has to know the technology he is dealing with, I have experience in front-end development as well, and have a solid understanding of information architecture and back-end development.Living between Milan and London, when I\'m away from a keyboard I am most likely to be found in a windy seaside spot searching for the best wave windsurfing session.
