Since 2019, I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with 37Games as their Lead Italian Localization Specialist, supporting their mission to bring immersive mobile strategy video games to global audiences. Over the course of our partnership, I’ve localized 17 major game titles end-to-end, contributing to a combined download base of over 100 million users worldwide.My responsibilities have extended far beyond core translation. I’ve worked independently across full-spectrum localization, adapting narrative and UI content, ensuring cultural resonance, and delivering high-impact linguistic quality assurance. I’ve also played a key role in integrating AI-enhanced workflows within the Italian locale: drafting style guides, reviewing and refining AI-generated content, testing custom LLMs, and supporting the implementation of post-editing pipelines.Throughout my time with 37Games, I’ve been entrusted with sensitive IP collaborations, where precision, brand compliance, and creative nuance were paramount. I’ve also contributed as an internal exam evaluator, helping assess and train linguist candidates across multiple departments and partner studios.Working closely with project managers, developers, and localization vendors, I’ve provided consultation on workflows, segment review frameworks, and CAT tool improvements, offering both strategic insight and hands-on linguistic support.With native fluency in Italian and English, and full professional proficiency in Spanish, I continue to bring cultural insight, localization expertise, and independent accountability to every task I undertake.
