ABOUT RICCARDO VIGNOLI
I’m an electrical engineer specialised in transmission systems, hydropower and photovoltaic plants. The fields of interest for me are the electrical protection schemes and functions and power system simulations.I’ve worked for years in feasibility and basic design studies developing reporting skills.I love travelling and going on site for inspections and surveys.Presently I’m working for the Italian TSO Terna in the dispatching department. I earned experience in the energy and ancillary services markets and I’ve recently moved in the real time operation unit dealing with grid operation, short term planning and balancing.I\'m attending a PhD course, working on grid following and grid forming inverters, dealing with stability analysis.
