As Head of Proprietary Finance at Banca Ifis, I drive a cross asset investment team (5 person) in managing proprietary investment portfolio for the Group, with focus on financial assets. In particular, I\'m in direct charge of managing:1) Banking book (strategic portfolio characterized by both medium to long tenor and low to medium level of risk); 2) Trading book (tactical portfolio characterized by both short tenor and medium level of risk).I use a wide range of financial products (broad market Corporate and Financial bonds, Govies, Equities, Rates, Derivatives, Funds, Structured assets, etc) in implementing both different strategies and the investment process as whole, steadily reaching gradually increasing and relevant returns over the time while containing risk in a rigorous manner, so systematically hedging and enhancing the proprietary portfolio. I support Head of Capital Markets and advise Board in evaluating and implementing strategic investment ideas on top of more recurrent activity.I\'m member of:Finance Committee.Proprietary Finance Committee (Secretary) Alm and Liquidity Committee Illiquid Assets CommitteeAs Head of Proprietary Finance and inherent ex-novo project leader I began working in Banca Ifis, focusing on the definition of the brand new whole proprietary investment framework, so mainly spending the first months in:a) assessing running (at the date) proprietary investment portfolio; b) defining proprietary investment brand new business model and related investment policy;c) selecting and implementing new operating and IT architecture and infrastructure;d) supporting Risk Management in the definiton of the risk framework;e) supporting both Legal department in delivering the required legal framework and the Orga department in defining the right organizational framework,starting points for a steady and strongly relevant process of prop investment upsize and related increase of its successfull impact on the Group revenues.
