The CES is a member of the Career Services Team but works collaboratively across the program team tosupport our comprehensive modelTraining Propose and implement training opportunities to strengthen GCFs Service to Sector model,specifically in the clean energy sector, where participants engaging in training are exposed topotential career paths through service and can see themselves in that work Manage technical training of staff, Corps Members, and Alumni TemporaryEmployees Lead advanced energy training for alumni seeking energy career-related upskilling Identify, implement and facilitate clean energy-related trainings for generalNYCHA residents as part of GCF’s multi-stakeholder sectoral initiatives Facilitate Roots of Success curriculum in classroom; identify and deliver in field content Manage Energy in Service learning opportunities and ensure positive experience formembers Plan and coordinate Service Corps field trips to clean energy-related job sites, trainingcenters, and local green businesses Maintain menu of external advanced training referral opportunities for alumni seeking toincrease skillsPartnership Management Manage existing and build new partner relationships related to training and career exposure Support job placement objectives that may include placements of non-GCF alumni Maintain a supportive youth development training approach that prioritizes the well-beingand needs of all Corps Members and educate training partners on best practices forsuccessful outcomesSocial Enterprise Supervise teams of Alumni Temporary Employees (ATEs) engaged in short term contracts withGreen City Force. Ensure they are meeting deliverables and professional standards. Providecoaching and course-correction, collaborating with the People Operations Team as needed.
