My role involves managing daily dock activities, upholding safety standards, fostering customer relationships, maintaining the dock, supervising staff, managing finances, and coordinating events and emergencies.Key Responsibilities:Dock Operations Management:Coordinate berthing, unberthing, and space assignments for vessels. Supervise loading and unloading activities and ensure compliance with marina policies.Safety and Compliance:Conduct regular inspections to mitigate risks, maintain emergency systems, and ensure proper disposal of hazardous materials.Customer Relations:Act as the main contact for boat owners and captains, addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and coordinating reservations for berths and additional services.Dock Maintenance:Oversee the upkeep of floating docks, mooring lines, and electrical systems. Ensure facilities are clean and collaborate on repairs when needed.Staff Management:Lead dockhands, technicians, and administrative staff.
