Ricardo Rivas

Mr. Rivas began his real estate career when joining Allied Orion Group (“AOG”) in 2001. Since then, he has been involved in all aspects of the business by participating in construction and property management field operations, asset management, development, and acquisitions. His responsibilities as CEO include executing the strategic goals of AOG and leading its divisions of property management, construction, and investments. Ricardo\'s highlights at AOG consist of approximately $1 billion in real estate development and acquisition of units, structuring the raise of three private equity funds, establishing new institutional debt and equity relationships, syndicating millions from high net worth individuals and family offices on a deal basis, designing strategic investment structures with different partnerships, implementing policies & procedures including financial modeling and project standards, restructuring company financial presentations and operations, and leading the company into new markets and product types such as build-for-rent, active adult, and 8 story concrete mid-rises. Mr. Rivas’ professional affiliations include being a member of the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC), Urban Land Institute (ULI), and local apartment associations. Mr. Rivas is fully bilingual in English and Spanish. Ricardo obtained his Master of Science in Accountancy with honors from the University of Houston and his M.B.A. from the University of North Alabama. He is also a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of North Alabama and was named athletic and academic All-Gulf South Conference for two consecutive years as a member of the men’s varsity tennis team (both as player and Assistant Coach).
