Senior Lead Stress Engineer
Feb 2018 — Present
Aircraft/Parts: Boeing 7X7 Airframe Structures and Systems - Structural Analyst performing static, fatigue, windmilling, damage tolerance analysis, and formal documentation for E-UM\'s & AR’s review and approval. Plans and organizes structural analysis work at the program level to assure total compliance with structural integrity and stability requirements. Develops, integrates and documents complex or unique structural requirements to establish the system design. Coordination with other engineering groups to establish the product’s environment. Guides product design and verifies structural integrity by defining requirements for development of analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance of the product. Works under consultative direction. Working on certification programs of 787-8 SCAB Horizontal Stabilizer, 787-9 & 787-10 IGW iMTW Side-of-Body (SOB) one of the most complex areas for configuration, stress analysis and build. Also, supporting the 737 Value Engineering Projects that have saved weight, material cost, machining time, and installation. Stress analysis are performed per Boeing Structural Design-BDM, Boeing Books 1, 2, & 3 and by use of proprietary analysis tools such as: Catia V5, ENOVIA, PATRAN, NASTRAN, ABAQUS, FEADMS, IAS, CSW, JOLT, SA+, XSA, NASGRO 8.2, IDTAS fatigue templates and DTANAL MAGIC crack growth/residual strength/DTR program.
