ABOUT RICARDO MATÉ ZAMARREÑO

With a strong background in electrical engineering, and hands-on experience in automation, power electronics, and energy storage systems, I’ve contributed to multidisciplinary projects that bridge design, integration, and commissioning. I’ve developed my skills by working across both engineering offices and on-site environments, adapting to complex and international project contexts. My domains of expertise include: → Pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up of complex electrical and automation systems from OEMs and technology providers. → System integration of multidisciplinary technologies across different applications. → Field operations, third-party supervision, HSE compliance, and QA/QC verification. Currently, I’m focusing on the electrification of marine systems, integrating electrical systems and propulsion technologies that drive the maritime energy transition. I’m passionate about bringing engineering systems to life: ensuring that technology, safety, and performance align to deliver projects that truly create value and move us toward a more sustainable future.
