Responsible for worldwide RF-wireless, EMC and Safety Compliance and certifications of FreeWave Technologies radio and non-radio products. In depth knowledge and experience of worldwide EMC & Wireless Testing, reports, Certifications and Standards.(FCC Part 15 B, FCC Part 15 C, FCC Part 90, RF Exposure, ETSI, EN 300 328, EN 301 489, EN 55022, EN 55032, EN 55024, EN 55035, EN 300 386, KN 32, KN 35, VCCI and, BSMI) In house pre-scans, troubleshooting and mitigating EMI issues by working closely with our Electrical and Mechanical design teams before taking our products to the labs. UL safety testing and certifications for our products, which include, UL/EN/IEC 62368, Hazardous Locations (C1D2) and DEMKO ATEX testing and certifications. Work with agencies and 3rd party test laboratories FCC, IC TCBs and agencies to test and certify our products successfully. Review quotes, reports, and test plans. Write work and operating instructions. Created & currently maintain corporate global approvals database. Update and correct Labels and User Manuals required for certifications. Perform research and provide feedback to our sales and management teams regarding the frequency allocations/usage and certifications in a new region or country. Provide input during the budget planning process on all expected regulatory related expenses. Perform in-house audits on our products to make sure that our products are compliant. Worked with UL Safety Audits. Manage or perform the investigation of internal compliance issues. RoHS compliance. ITAR and EAR compliance.
