Responsible for managing all stages of the New Product Development (NPD) process; including identification of trends and potential gaps in the market, the development of project briefs and business cases, the creation and technical input into new nutritional profiles and product formulations intended for people following medical diets, the preparation and submission of extensive scientific reports to regulatory authorities, and supporting the marketing team in creating successful and powerful product launches. • Leading multiple project workstreams, whilst effectively collaborating with cross-functional colleagues, to continuously drive product innovation, portfolio expansion and ultimately business growth. • Accountable for identifying and reporting any project risks, updating relevant project documentation and progress reports, and providing regular project updates to the Head of Innovation. • Responsible for business compliance to all relevant food legislation, including but not limited to the Food Information for Consumers Regulation (FIC) and Food Information Regulations 2014 (FIR), mandatory allergen labelling and precautionary allergen statements, and food additives regulations. • Accountable for the creation and roll-out of new training programmes on the regulatory landscape for medical nutrition products, and ensuring robust policies and procedures for both medical diets and compliance are adhered to across the business.• Enhancing the company\'s reputation internally and externally by representing AYMES at the British Specialist Nutrition Association (BSNA), both in writing and by attending the Medical Nutrition Executive (MNE), Food Safety Working Group (FSWG) and Medical Food Working Groups (MFWG) industry meetings on a regular basis.
