ABOUT RIAAN GRASSIE
I started my career in 2008 with KPMG in South Africa, focusing on auditing clients in the industrial and automotive sector, including working in the USA on a short term rotation. I moved to the UK in 2015 where I continued my career in auditing with EY in the Reading office and has experience of providing statutory audit, controls assurance, data analytics and accounting advice across a range of industry sectors. I moved into industry in March 2021 when I joined Barloworld UK as Financial Controller performing a wide range of tasks, including month-end procedures, consolidation, Exco analysis & presentations, annual financial statement preparation, tax compliance, treasury requirements. I continued expanding my skills when I moved to Readypower Group as Group Financial Controller in June 2025.I have a B.Com honours degree in Accounting and am a qualified and registered Chartered Accountant of South Africa (CA(SA)) with The South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA).
