I am a partner and the Head of the Travel Group at Fox Williams. I am travel sector specialist, with in-depth knowledge of the industry and how it works. I am listed as a leading individual for Travel: Regulatory and Commercial in both the Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners.I advise clients on compliance with the complex web of laws and regulation which apply to the sale of travel services in Europe. This includes advising on compliance with the Package Travel Directive, the ATOL Regulations, Consumer Rights Directive, insolvency protection requirements and the local rules which require registration and/or licensing of activity in certain European markets. I typically undertake this work for tour operators, travel agents, online booking platforms and airlines.I frequently represent clients in response to investigations and proceedings by regulators and industry trade associations.
