Adjunct Professor of Law
Seattle University School Of Law
Aug 2021 — Present · Seattle, WA, US
I developed and will teach my own course, “Innovating the Built Environment.” During the Fall 2021 semester, the course will focus on two areas: i) climate-driven impacts on the built real estate environment, and ii) a review of the progress and evolution of wireless communications over the past 30 years (with an emphasis on the required infrastructure and real property matters required to operate the wireless networks). This course threads together two societal goals that intersect with the built environment-minimizing the impact of climate change and increasing the communication networks that connect us all as Americans. I am looking forward to sparking future lawyers who will, in the coming years, be part of an interdisciplinary team developing solutions to the realities of climate change and the continued growth of mobile communications within our society.
