Produced briefing documents, research papers, reports, and drafted speech notes for Members on various Committees- Briefed Members on the Economic Affairs Committee, Financial Services and Regulations Committee, and Finance Bill Sub-Committee- Supported the Clerk in writing the Finance Bill Sub-Committee report on Research and Development Tax Relief, HMRC data requirements, promoters of tax avoidance and sentencing for tax fraud with recommendations to Government of which 21 out of 36 recommendations were accepted- Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, Government departments, researchers and other political contacts- Political monitoring and updating Members of Committees with relevant information, consultations and draft legislation.
