Member of the senior-level team, responsible for developing media strategy and overseeing all internal and external communications • Create marketing campaigns that include producing video, audio, and digital advertisements (in house) for commercial broadcast stations across Maryland• Create marketing strategies to identify our at-risk and Hispanic population for scholarships through numerous community partnerships• Responsible for developing, coordinating, and facilitating a three year media campaign to promote new programs impacting our higher education community• Responsible for securing and implementing two Maryland Department of Health grant programs related to suicide prevention and behavioral health issues impacting Maryland higher education campuses. • Responsible for all web and social media content as well as create and oversee intranet for employee information critical to internal communications• Responsible for news releases, opinion pieces, articles, and day-to-day media responses as the agency spokesperson• Coordinate and direct special events • Oversee constituent services for all MHEC related issues
