ABOUT RHONDA TAYLOR

As Dollar General\'s EVP & General Counsel, Rhonda Taylor brings more than two decades of executive leadership experience in corporate governance, ESG strategy, enterprise risk management, and regulatory compliance. She oversees critical functions that safeguard organizational integrity and reputation, including legal strategy, global compliance, internal audit, government affairs, public relations, and corporate social responsibility and philanthropy. Rhonda contributes to industry-wide litigation strategy as a board member of the Retail Industry Leaders Association’s (RILA) Retail Litigation Center.Recognized for her efforts across the retail industry, She was recently named to the Nashville Business Journal Women of Influence list, and the Nashville Post \'In Charge\' list in 2025. Rhonda was named to the National Women’s Conference’s Top 100 Women in Business, HERoes/Yahoo Finance Women Executive Role Models, and Mass Market Retailers’ (MMR) People Who Made a Difference in 2022. She was also recognized among MMR’s Most Influential Women for three consecutive years, from 2017 – 2019.Beyond the corporate sphere, Rhonda serves on multiple nonprofit boards, including the Dollar General Literacy Foundation, Dollar General Employee Assistance Foundation, the Nashville Public Library Foundation, and the Tennessee Performing Arts Center, reflecting her commitment to education, literacy, and community engagement.
