As a Producer, I own operations and tactical execution of projects for the Pinterest Design System Team. I keep the team organized by ensuring priorities, scope, and timelines are clearly defined and understood. I act as a key point of contact for the team, managing communications to stakeholders, tracking project and component status, and facilitating cross-functional operational meetings. I identify and rollout process improvements to benefit those working on, and interacting with, the Gestalt Design System. My attention to detail and organizational skills help keep design system deliverables on track, playing a key role in rolling out improvements to Pinners across all platforms.Project coordination: Own project plans, ensuring tasks are properly tracked and completed. Partner with team members to resolve blockers and manage risks to on-time delivery.Backlog management and planning: Maintaining the design system backlog, while working closely with design management on prioritization and timing.Component tracking: Monitoring the status of design system components across various platforms. Maintaining a comprehensive view in partnership with Design and Engineering management.Managing team-to-team collaboration: Coordinating contributions to the design system from multiple teams. Managing team support channels and ensure rapid resolution of issues.Process improvement: Defining and standardizing new processes to streamline collaboration between cross-functional teams supporting the Design System.Meeting facilitation: Lead key meetings such as team retrospectives, planning sessions, and cross-functional forums. Ensuring that these meetings run smoothly and achieve their goals.Communications: Managing communication efforts regarding the Gestalt Design System to the broader Design organization. Ensuring updates, news, and relevant information are disseminated clearly and effectively
