World Wildlife Fund (WWF) is the world’s leading conservation organization, working in 100 countries and supported by 1.1 million members in the U.S. and nearly 5 million globally. Accomplishments to date include: •Leading a regional philanthropy team of 10 major gift officers and four support staff based in Chicago, San Diego, San Francisco, and Washington, DC with annual revenue of approximately $10M •Leading a gift planning team of eight staff with annual revenue of approximately $25M •Managing an annual budget over $6M •Developing and executing a strategic plan for increasing revenue from major gifts donors and increasing support through planned gifts for WWF’s major programmatic initiatives •Working to double the number of major donors and bequest intenders, and building strong relationships for the major gifts pipeline •Building an East Coast major gifts program from the ground up, including hiring and managing the first-ever team of major gifts officers in the Eastern Region •Managing a portfolio of 35 major and principal gifts donors •Managing four direct reports: Director of Philanthropy, Eastern Region; Senior Director of Philanthropy, Central Region; Senior Director of Philanthropy, Western Region; Deputy Director of Individual Giving •Leveraging the networks and experience of existing major donors, the National Council, and senior program staff to build a strong major donor pipeline and increase financial support for the organization •Writing and managing the development of grant applications, concept papers, and original fundraising collateral •Managing and executing donor cultivation events and international travel opportunities
