   Foster a culture of philanthropy and ensure that fundraising is executed in keeping withthe organization\'s values, vision, and mission. Create and execute, in partnership with the CEO, the organization\'s annual funddevelopment course and programs through grants, sponsorships, gifts, donations, andfundraising events. Develop actionable strategies for performance measures that evaluate the efficacy ofthe fund development program. Manage and maintain accountability to ensure compliance with all grant processes. Deepen relationships with existing portfolio of donors and foundation leaders andidentify new prospects. Make direct, face-to-face solicitations and assist the CEO, board, and other staff withtheir solicitations (e.g. provide portfolio development support, strategic counsel andhelp with donor communications.) Develop and implement a plan to leverage the Board president, senior leaders, and staffin the identification, qualification, and cultivation of strategic prospects, ensuring that allparticipants understand their roles and are fully briefed for meetings with prospects anddonors. Communicate agency events and successes through regular donor communicationnewsletters.Acknowledge major donors through public and private recognition. Keep abreast of developments in philanthropy and fund development, includingpartnering with the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia’s Financial ResourcesDepartment. Attend evening or weekend Jewish Learning Venture and community meetings, events,and activities and foster pride and excitement in fundraising efforts. Serve as the staff liaison to the Development Committee, engaging members in thefundraising process, overseeing ongoing training, and supporting and managingphilanthropic activities.
