Looking after the CI/CD pipeline and Azure cloud and infrastructure stack and working on various automation and continuous improvement initiatives with developers from monolithic to microservice architecture using DevOps practices and cloud native microservices like Azure Functions. Some of the projects I have been working on since joining Spektrix include**Azure Cloud - migrating the colo datacentre from on-prem to Azure using Azure DevOps pipelines, Terraform and using various could native resources like Azure functions, SQL PaaS with elastic pools etc. Monitoring & alerting using webhooks to PagerDuty and overlaying metrics with Grafana.**Docker - Implement container architecture using Docker Swarm to cluster docker hosts and move various services and applications to containers gaining better resource consumption and self-healing capability as well as fast deployments and startup.*Redis - Created a Docker containerized Redis cluster for the developers moving session state from legacy ASPSession DB to Sessions in Redis improving speed and resiliency on the web tier**Automation using Powershell – updating and creating new Powershell scripts to aid in the improvement of manual tasks to more automated tasks.**Terraform - Backported existing AWS environment to Terraform code so the entire environment was in code (infra as code) making this easier to use revision control of the infrastructure and creating new instances.**Puppet - Using puppet as configuration management platform for automated config of our Linux and Windows hosts Among the above, the technology areas also touched include but not limited to:Azure, AWS, Active Directory, XenServer, Linux, IIS, DNS, Jira, Puppet, Packer, Jenkins, SANs…
