The Arcus Center for Social Justice Leadership (ACSJL) is an initiative of Kalamazoo College whose mission is to develop and sustain leaders in human rights and social justice through education and capacity-building.• Lead strategic planning of programs, operations, logistics, and event management for a facility hosting 75+ on-site and virtual social justice events annually • Develop curriculum and facilitate workshops and trainings with up to 40 attendees around concepts such as Anti-racism, Accountability, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion • Manage operational budget including events, marketing, grant projects, co-sponsorships, payroll, training, and staff development• Oversee a team of 11 Event Coordinators responsible for developing and executing programming for events, workshops, and webinars with up to 300 attendees • Direct community engagement through the development and cultivation of partnerships with nonprofit organizations, grassroots activists, and community organizers; providing mentorship and funding to support initiatives such as the first citywide Community ID Program
